He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 9, 1934. He was married to Janet Nielsen on February 1, 1990. Christian had careers in the Military – 20 years in the US Air Force and 20 years as a Postal Courier. He loved guns, fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities.
He is survived by his wife Janet Nielsen and his nine children: daughter Diane Revis; and sons Chris Nielsen, Timothy Nielsen, Kenneth Nielsen, David Nielsen, Steven Solomon, Nick Solomon, Robert Solomon, and Aaron Solomon. He is also survived by his siblings: two brothers Gary and Roy, and four sisters; Ruth, Linda, Gale, and Debbie. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
