The beginning… Christopher Scott Brodman was born on the 9th day of June in the year of 1982. He developed into a tall, handsome, and exceedingly charming young man. As a teenager his mother, the beautiful Maryann Passinente Brodman passed. He turned his loss into love; Christopher loved everyone. He graduated from William Floyd High school in 2000. From there he went on so study the complexities of the human species at institutions like LIGALY and Thunders… occasionally the Bunk House. Eventually he earned his Ph.D. in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He left it all behind to pursue a dream in Hollywood CA. The dream ended a few years later, but not without some amazing, albeit rated-R, stories. He moved to Orlando in 2006 to make a life. While here he did what he did best and created many relationships. If you had met Chris you’d have been his best friend, no doubt. Chris was the life and the charm of every gathering. He was the person everyone called with good news, bad news, or no news at all. Christopher traveled where he wanted to travel, laughed inappropriately at every chance, learned what he wanted to learn, and loved who he wanted to love. In June 2016 Christopher was given a second chance at life as a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting. But on the 11th day of September, he unexpectedly followed in death his mother and father, Leonard Brodman, and preceded in death his sister, Kathyann Brodman, and his brothers, Jamie Mitchell and Daniel Brodman. Christopher also left behind the family he chose to love, the people within whom his life will be remembered in more than just memories because he is a part of us. Christopher was a survivor, a lover, and a true friend. He lived hard, loved a lot, and spent his dash well: June 9, 1982 – September 11, 2016. We’ll miss you… the end.
