Darius Belangel Barbasa

​Darius was a truly remarkable individual—a beacon of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love. He was renowned for his deep and abiding faith, serving as a beacon of hope for all who knew him. His passing leaves an immense void in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

​A Life Defined by Virtue, Service, and Diverse Talents

​Darius lived a life characterized by unwavering integrity and selflessness. He was an inspirational figure, a compassionate soul, and an extraordinary mentor whose wisdom and warmth touched countless hearts.

​Darius dedicated his professional life to enriching others through education, music, and healing. As a registered Nurse, he was deeply passionate about his work, taking exceptional care of his patients with dedication and empathy. His colleagues loved him dearly, recognizing him as a truly esteemed professional and a source of encouragement in the workplace.

​Beyond nursing, he was a cherished educator and a respected professor, shaping the minds and careers of countless students. His musical talents shone brightly as a devoted choir director, where he inspired harmony and elevated spirits through song.

​From his early years, Darius embraced challenge and artistry. He was a dedicated athlete, competing in track and field at the provincial level and playing varsity volleyball in high school, demonstrating his passion for discipline and teamwork. Later, his creativity found expression in a different medium: Darius possessed a true love for jewelry and enjoyed designing unique pieces.

​He was a radiant source of positive energy, always quick with an encouraging word, a helping hand, or his famously infectious smile. Darius had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. His magnanimous nature meant he gave freely—of his time, his resources, and his boundless affection. He was steadfast in his devotion to his family and friends, and a pillar of strength for his community.

​An Enduring Legacy

​Darius leaves behind a powerful, enduring legacy of impact, measured not in possessions, but in the love he shared. A series of services will be held to honor Darius. The events will take place at Family Funeral Care, located at 13001 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32837. The schedule is as follows:

- Gathering of Family and Friends on November 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

- 9th Day Novena Prayer on November 20, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

- Funeral Service on November 20, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

- Celebration of Life on November 20, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 12600 Marsfield Avenue, Orlando, FL 32837, on November 21, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The Graveside Service will take place at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Queen Of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792, on November 21, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
