As a registered Nurse, he was deeply passionate about his work, taking exceptional care of his patients with dedication and empathy. His colleagues loved him dearly, recognizing him as a truly esteemed professional and a source of encouragement in the workplace.
Beyond nursing, he was a cherished educator and a respected professor, shaping the minds and careers of countless students. His musical talents shone brightly as a devoted choir director, where he inspired harmony and elevated spirits through song.
From his early years, Darius embraced challenge and artistry. He was a dedicated athlete, competing in track and field at the provincial level and playing varsity volleyball in high school, demonstrating his passion for discipline and teamwork. Later, his creativity found expression in a different medium: Darius possessed a true love for jewelry and enjoyed designing unique pieces.
He was a radiant source of positive energy, always quick with an encouraging word, a helping hand, or his famously infectious smile. Darius had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. His magnanimous nature meant he gave freely—of his time, his resources, and his boundless affection. The Graveside Service will take place at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Queen Of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792, on November 21, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
