Duane “Swede” Johnson 92, passed away August 29, 2014 in Orlando, FL. Swede was born May 15, 1922 in Hagensdorf, ND to Herbert and Dorothy Johnson. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in WWII. Swede was an avid bowler, bowling in several national and state tournaments. He bowled in leagues for over 50 yrs. He loved to travel and was a 33rd Degree Shriner and Mason. He is survived by his wife of 57 yrs, Betty; son, Steve Johnson; daughter, Tonya Chavis; grandchildren, Christopher and James Gittere. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tori Suzanne Gittere. Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 2nd from 6- 8 pm at the Baldwin Fairchild Conway Chapel. Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, Sept. 3rd at 2 pm at the funeral home with interment immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery.
