Eileen J. Schmidt

Eileen was born on November 26,1940,in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to Harvey and Ludmilla Shoulak Sempier.

She married Ken(Duke)Schmidt on June 15,1962, and he preceded her in death on September 11. 2014.

Eileen was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Judy Bruce,her brothers Gerald and Ronald Sempier, sister-in-law Dorothy Sempier, brothers-in-law Gerald Bruce and Raymond Wolfinger.

Survivors include her sister Donna Wolfinger of Orlando, Florida, Brother Marvin(Mary)Sempier of Jupiter, Florida, sister-in-law Jean Sempier of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and several nieces and nephews.

Eileen graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc In 1958. She attended airline school for Flight Attendants in Minneapolis, but due to her height, she was unable to pursue that path. Instead she worked in the insurance industry while living in Minneapolis.

Her next adventure took her to Orlando, where she joined her sisters. Eileen worked for Martin Company in Finance for 40years.

Eileen and Duke shared many happy memories including weekend trips to the beach in their Corvette and fun filled cruises. One of Eileen's greatest joys was her yard, where she would spend hours each day tending to both the big and small tasks. Her yard was always beautiful, reflecting her loving attention to detail.

Eileen will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
