Eric Bruce Corwin

Another piece of sweetness has been taken from us far too early. 43 year old Eric Corwin, originally of Melbourne, FL escaped the ravages of a 2 year battle with cancer on Thursday, July 19, 2012 and will sorely be missed by many friends and family. His parents, Lanny and Jill Corwin of Charlotte, NC were at his bedside and he was attended to earlier in the day by a multitude of family and friends.

Eric, double-degreed graduate of University of Central Florida, worked for Belk in his youth but has spent the last 15+ years protecting children and their families while they visited Disney parks in Orlando as a member of the Disney’s Security force. During this time he was responsible for the proper training and protocols of the entire Disney Security Force.

Eric is survived by an Uncle and Spouse, two Aunts and their Spouses as well as three cousins and their children.

Please join us in celebrating his life this Saturday night, July 21st from 6 – 9pm at Family Funeral Care in Hunters Creek at 13001 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida, 32837. Eric will be interred in a private service in Melbourne at a later date.
