Francisco M. Ruiz, 74, of Orlando, Fl passed away on February 15, 2023 after battling lung cancer and multiple myeloma. He was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico on November 8, 1948 and retired after 23 years of service in the United States Army. He was married to Lillian E. Moreno Ruiz on October 20, 1973. After his retirement, Francisco served as a chef for Lockheed Martin and the VA Hospital at Lake Nona. He enjoyed watching cowboy movies, reading the comics, telling jokes, and spending time with his family. He always had dogs and enjoyed playing with his daughters’ dogs. He was survived by his wife, Lillian E. Moreno Ruiz, his four daughters, Lillian Michelle Ruiz, Brenda Lee Thomas, Karen Melissa Ruiz Moreno and Ivonne Marie Ruiz Moreno, and his two grandchildren Elijah Ray Thomas and Maisy Grace Thomas.
