Irma Mercedes Rivera Rivera

A devout Catholic, Irma lived her faith not only through prayer and devotion to the Church, but through daily acts of love, sacrifice, and service. Her life was a testament to quiet strength, humility, and unwavering trust in God. The Church was her spiritual home, and her faith guided every season of her life.

She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Jose Sebastian Navedo Resto, whose partnership she cherished deeply. Their marriage was rooted in faith, loyalty, and enduring love, and together they built a family grounded in strong values and compassion.

Irma was the heart of her family—a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was blessed with five children—four daughters and one son—and her love extended across generations. Her wisdom, prayers, and gentle guidance shaped not only her children but the many lives that followed. Her family was her greatest joy, and she nurtured each generation with patience, grace, and unconditional love.

Her legacy lives on through her faith, her family, and the countless lives she touched through kindness, devotion, and selfless care. Though we mourn her loss, we find peace in knowing she is now welcomed into God’s eternal embrace.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Con profundo amor y gratitud por una vida bellamente vivida, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Irma Mercedes Rivera viuda de Navedo, quien entró en reposo eterno el 26 de diciembre del 2025, a la edad de 94 años.

Irma era una católica devota. Irma vivió su fe no solo a través de la oración y la devoción a la Iglesia, sino a través de actos diarios de amor, sacrificio y servicio. Su vida fue un testimonio de fuerza tranquila, humildad y confianza inquebrantable en Dios. La Iglesia era su hogar espiritual, y su fe guía cada temporada de su vida.

Era una esposa devota de su amado esposo, José Sebastian Navedo Resto, cuya asociación apreciaba profundamente. Su matrimonio se basó en la fe, la lealtad y el amor duradero, y juntos construyeron una familia basada en valores fuertes y compasión.

Irma era el corazón de su familia: una madre amorosa, abuela, bisabuela y tatarabuela. Fue bendecida con cinco hijos, cuatro mujeres y un varon, y su amor se extendió a través de generaciones. Su sabiduría, oraciones y amable guía dieron forma no solo a sus hijos, sino también a las muchas vidas que siguieron. Su familia era su mayor alegría, y alimentó a cada generación con paciencia, gracia y amor incondicional.

Su legado sigue vivo a través de su fe, su familia y las innumerables vidas que tocó a través de la bondad, la devoción y el cuidado desinteresado. Mientras lloramos su fallecimiento, nos consuela saber que ha sido bienvenida a casa en el abrazo eterno de Dios.
