The family of Joseph P. Rossignol, Jr. is sorry to announce that he has passed away. Joey was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to Joseph and Monica Rossignol. He is survived by his brother Bronson Rossignol.
He attended Countryside HS in Clearwater, FL and Spanish River HS in Boca Raton, FL. Joey loved football. He played football from Pop Warner straight through High School. He cherished his football days at Spanish River HS, where he was #51 Offensive Lineman. Joey attended FAU - Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. He was in the Navy and then he attended Valencia Community College in Orlando, FL.
It was during this time that Joey first started showing symptoms of Huntington's Disease. Joey battled with Huntington's Disease for over 12 years. Due to the rarity of this disease and that it is considered 100% hereditary, he was not diagnosed until 2015. Joey battled this terminal illness with absolute determination, strength, dignity and grace until his very last breath.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.
So rest in eternal peace Joey,
And thanks for all you've done.
We know that God has given you
The crown you've truly won.
We will be holding a small Memorial Service with immediate family only, per Joey's wishes, on Friday, November 15, 2019. We would like to express our appreciation for everyone's deepest sympathy, thoughts, prayers and love. We know that Joey is smiling down from heaven thankful...cherishing each and everyone.
