June Denson Peters

June D Peters, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2012, with her daughter at her side, after a long and hard fought battle with COPD. She was born January 30, 1932 in Lynchburg Virginia and moved to Florida in the 1950’s. Mrs. Peters was a retired Manager of Bruce Wilson Photography Naval Exchange.

June was a woman of strong faith. She welcomed guests into her home with warmth, and always found the good in people. She particularly loved her daily visits from her friends from Meals on Wheels, her Hospice Nurses, and her deliveries from Jenny. Her favorite times were when her children and grandchildren came for visits. She relished having her home filled with laughter.

June is predeceased in death by her husband Charlie G Peters and her Parents Thomas and Hazel Denson. She is survived by her children, Debra Lishen of Orlando; Linda Peters and Tony Spaulding of Coventry Connecticut; Gayle and Dan Milbourne and her pride and joy, Grandsons Clint and Sean Milbourne of Dallas Georgia, her sister Eloise Toomath of Lynchburg Virginia, and her niece Vivian Abernathy of Los Angeles, California.
