Ky Minh Bang

Ky Minh Bang, 62, passed away on February 12, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. Born on March 27, 1963, in Saigon, Vietnam, Ky lived a long life of hard work and resilience that motivated and inspired his family.

Ky spent a majority of his life as a server at Epcot, Walt Disney World, where he was able to connect and put a smile on families' faces visiting from both near and far.

Although Ky may have lived a more private life at home, he was known for his charisma and storytelling when you got to know him. Ky was also known for his deep generosity, where he loved making and sharing food for all to enjoy. He spent his time being creative in the kitchen and caring for his garden, creating delicious meals with homegrown produce for his family.

He had a special love for animals as well, endlessly spoiling his dogs, Axel and Kodi, with lots of treats and cuddles. He was also talented with music, spending long hours collecting records, listening to music, and practicing his guitar. For fun, he loved watching football and basketball, and spending time by the ocean fishing. His warm smile and laughter brightened every room he entered.

Ky is survived by his wife of 32 years, Samantha, and his three children, Justin, Alvin, and Maria. Ky was preceded in death by his mother, Hia Van Truong, and father, Vuong Hong Bang.
