Larry was a lifelong resident of Florida. He was born in Coral Gables, and raised in Hialeah and Marco Island. Larry then moved to Orlando, but has spent the last eight years in Clearwater. He resided at the Orange Motel, where he called home for the last eight years. Larry was Grace’s and Fonzi’s maintenance man. Sometimes he made more work than he was able to repair, but they loved him like a son. He loved everyone, and would do anything for you if you needed help. Larry loved his family dearly, and was happy he didn’t have to live with us, and really, we were too! He was so happy to have us come visit, and even happier to see us go. He said recently that he could only deal with us a couple days a week. Larry thought the world of his Aunt JoAnne, who he called A.J. He always gave her a hard time because she always wanted to do something for him.
Larry was the little baby who was put on a diet when he was six months old, and his appetite never changed. He was one of a kind and loved his privacy, but also loved his family, especially his Mom. They had a bond that was unique, very much love between them. The love was always there, but especially the last couple of months. His Sister was the apple of his eye. Larry thought she was bossy, and she was, but she took care of things and got things done. He lived through a terrible accident in 1986, and also fought this cancer hard, to the very end.
We love you, Larry, and will always miss you!
