Linda Joann Smith

Joann was called home January 2, 2013, following a courageous fight with cancer. Born in Statesboro, GA, Joann moved to Orlando in 1971. Joann had a long career at Valencia Community College and then moved on to Barry University. Joann is survived by her husband Cliff of Orlando, two sons Ty and Trace of Orlando, sister Ginny of Portal, GA, brothers Jimmy and Lannie of Portal, GA, and seven grandchildren: Madison, Hannah, Dylan, Lauryn, Taylor, Luke, and Caleb all of Orlando. Memorial Services to be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1515 South Semoran Boulevard, Orlando, Florida on January 5, 2013 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
