Marguerite Ellen Williams, a woman of steadfast faith, who was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning on March 5, 2025. She passed peacefully, surrounded by love.
Marguerite, who everyone knew as Margie, was born on December 17, 1933. In her early twenties, she married the love of her life, Horace Williams, whom she had five children with and then moved to Florida in 1964 where they built a life they both treasured.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Diane) Williams of Clermont; Patricia (Joe) Snyder of Deland; David Williams of Orlando; Duane (Gina) Williams of Orlando; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Debra Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and her son, Jimmy Williams.
Margie was a loving mother and spent her life caring for others. She loved her family immensely, she enjoyed gardening, beautiful needlework, traveling, dancing with Horace, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and boy did she love to talk around a table. Most of all, she loved others, spread joy with her laughter and has inspired us all to enjoy life and not to worry about a thing!
