
He was born in Wilkes-Barre PA on April 26, 1953, to Gerald and Cora Sheridan.
After High School graduation he went to work on the railroad as a conductor.
Michael was married to his wife, Sally, on April 24, 2004, who survives him.
He is also survived by his children, Candice Sheridan (Jeff), Jason Sheridan (Rachel), and Trevor Sheridan (Kayla), his granddaughter Madelynn Sheridan; his stepchildren Kathryn Simmons (Adder), Scott Simmons (Stephane), Mark Simmons (Rhonda), David Simmons (Lauren), his ten step-grandchildren who called him "Pop-pop" and adored him; his siblings Jerry Sheridan (Mary), Kathleen White, George Sheridan and Colleen Will (John), and his godson Jerry Sheridan Jr.
Michael was a life-long fan of rock and roll music. He had a beautiful baritone singing voice, and as a young man he sang lead vocals man for a band called Rocky Road. He loved attending concerts and did so whenever the opportunity arose throughout his life.
Michael loved to cook and prepare meals for his family. He was all about spending quality time with his loved ones and visiting with them. He was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies. One of his fondest memories was watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl in 2018.
