Patrick Louis Amarose Sr.

Patrick Louis Amarose Sr., 81, of St. Cloud, FL passed away November 13, 2021. He was born in Elysburg, PA on January 16, 1940 to Patrick and Thelma Amarose. He was married to Delores Amarose with whom they had two children. After many years of marriage they decided they were better as friends and remained friends until his passing. He later had a life partner Doris Collins. The two were together until her passing in 2020. Patrick had a 20 year career with the United States Army as a military police officer and working in construction. Patrick, “Pat” to his friends was an active member of AA. You could count on Pat to be early and stay late after every meeting to listen, swap stories, and share his experiences, strength, and hope with all when they needed it. He touched many lives and his presence will be missed but his memory will live on. Pat had a passion for fishing, traveling, and cars. Patrick was proceeded in passing by his life partner Doris Collins; his sons Christopher Amarose and Peter Amarose; as well as his parents Patrick and Thelma Amarose. He is survived by his son Patrick (Stephanie) Amarose; his three grandchildren Daniel, Pat, and Olivia Amarose; his four sisters Patricia (Joseph) Pavloski, Elaine Gilligbourer, Diane (Frank) Wilkins and Stephanie (John) Barna. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters of AA in Central Florida. He will be laid to rest in the family plot at All Saints Cemetery in Elysburg, PA with his son and parents.
