It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick David Doubleday announces his passing on March 3, 2024 at the age of 57. Patrick was born on October 6, 1966 in Alpena , MI. His family moved to Southfield, MI and then in 1979 to Orlando, FL. He was a graduate from Winter Park High School and University of Central Florida. He was involved with the ROTC which led to a 10 year active and reserve duty with the Air Force. In 1989 Patrick began working at Disney. He would have celebrated 35 years of accomplishments this year.
Patrick’s life was full. Faith and family were priorities to him. He was a devoted and loving husband to Melanie of 15 years and an amazing, loving and proud daddy to his sweet 12 yr old daughter, Lauren, who was the “light of his life“. His 4 legged golden doodles, Dash and Chip, loved him unconditionally and were the best of buddies.
Patrick had many titles. Son, brother, husband, father, uncle and “ great uncle”.
He is preceded in death by father and mother, Stanley and Judith Doubleday. Survived by wife Melanie, daughter Lauren, sister LeeAnn (Steve) Jablonski, brother Mike Doubleday, niece Samantha (Matt) Horn, great nieces, Emerson and Avery.
