Ricky Allen Epperson

Ricky Allen Epperson, 61, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 27, 2012. He moved to Orlando from Fort Lauderdale. Rick attended Blankner Elementary School, Orlando, Howard Junior High School, Orlando and Colonial High School, Orlando, where he was on the football and basketball team. He attended Valencia Community College and was in the pi chi omicron fraternity. He also attended the Universtiy of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada where he studied Kinesiology. Rick was a member of the Harley Owners Group and Moose Lodge #2345 Pine Castle. He retired from the Orlando Police Department after years of dedicated service. He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Epperson and his brother Charles William Epperson. Ricky is survived by his mother Ruth, his son Doug, daughter Jessica, brother Jim, two grandchildren, Jackson and Chase and two nephews Cody and Brian. A visitation will take place on Friday, February 10, 2012, from 12pm-2pm, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road in Orlando.
