

He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Primeau and his beloved sons, Neil Primeau and Scott Primeau, his sisters, Claire Weaver, Constance Doran and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Richard Primeau and Maurice Primeau.
Robert served in the United States Navy and upon his discharge , he graduated from the New England Institute of Technology. In 1963 he started the company of Northeast Refrigeration, Inc. which he ran successfully for 35 years. As a respected business man, he was a member of the Cumberland Businessman’s Association. He also served his community as a member of the Mount St. Charles Parents’ Council, the St. John Vianney Renovation Committee and the Diocesan Vision of Hope.
Robert was a faithful fan and loyal supporter of the Providence College’s basketball program and was a member of the Friar Front Court. He was tireless in his efforts to promote the Annual Fund of Providence College and was awarded The Dr. William McDonnell award for his volunteer work. Upon his retirement, he moved to Florida where he continued to volunteer. He served at the Heart of Florida Hospital, the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe, Corpus Christi Parish, Elder Care, and was a member of the VFW Post 4289 Honor Guard.
Services will be held Monday, July 8th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Family Funeral Care in Orlando and a funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at Corpus Christi Parish in Celebration.
