

Robert Frank (Bob) Starr born Feb 11, 1937 died peacefully at his residence on Oct 14, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Born and raised in Corning New York, he graduated and in early years of college he worked at a Haberdashery which accounts for his well-groomed stylishness. Bob volunteered for the draft and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War, then finished college at Tri-State, Indiana. Bob, a 17 year retiree in Florida of Corning Glass, Inc. spent 30+ years as a Commercial Retail Sales Manager for seven western states selling fine plate ware to Hotels, Casinos and Restaurants then transferred to Florida. He achieved two awards to the prestigious Presidents Circle and was deemed the ultimate "Road Warrior". Bob had a keen sense of humor and loved holidays, parties and especially Halloween. Bob enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, sports and Nascar. Bob married and raised his first family in Michigan and his second family later in Florida. He is survived by Darlene his wife and partner for 25+ years, Brother Paul Starr and his family, Brother Frank (Duke) Starr, his four children Alycia, Rob, Amy and Heather, and his 9 grandchildren. Nothing was dearer to him than having family and friends together for memorable times. Bob Starr lived a good life and will be dearly missed.
