

Principal of Dover Shores Elementary School in Orlando. Ruth was born in Coffee
County, Alabama to SGB and Annie Carnley Clark. She married Ermie H. Cain
(deceased) in 1945. She was a past Worthy Matron of the OES. She was a
member of College Park Baptist Church. She graduated from Troy State with a
B.S. and from Stetson University with a M.A. She taught in Orange County and
was Principal at Dover Shores until her retirement. She was a past President of
the ADK Honorary Educational Sorority. Ruth was past President and Board
Member of Orange County Retired Educators Association. She was listed in
Who's Who in Education, Southern Women, and Florida Women. Ruth was an
Honorary Life Member of both the United States and Florida PTA's. She is
survived by her brother, Robert Roland Clark and two sons, Rex and Ken, two
grandsons, Christopher and Nicholas, as well as ten great-grandchildren: Joshua,
Julian, Michael, Christiana, Christopher, Jr., Meygen, Naomi, Elijah, Levi, and Luke
