Shirley Marie Peet

Shirley Marie Peet, 55, passed away on January 2, 2024. Shirley was born on June 25, 1968 in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She was most remembered for her outgoing nature and was always there to lend a helping hand. You knew you could always count on her to make you smile and laugh. She had a passion of mystery novels and crime scene shows, and even achieved a certification in Crime Scene Investigation. She loved to travel and was the hardest working women you could ever meet. She was a bartender for many years and a postal worker for the United States Postal Service.

She was a grandmother to three little boys and a mother to one daughter. This is what brought her the most pride and joy, and was always a mother and a grandmother before anything else.

Shirley is survived by her mother; Shirley Lilly and predeceased by her stepfather John Lilly.

A celebration of her life will be on February 4th at 6:00pm at the Mad Greek international cafe in Johnson City, Tennessee, where she has worked for more then 10 years. Everyone is welcome.
