It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad early yesterday morning at Susan and Dan’s home in Orlando. He was surrounded by loved ones led by Mom. We were all given the privilege to say goodbye as he fell terminally ill last Friday. The truth is that we have all been blessed with time to communicate to our family how much they all mean to us.
We are so grateful for the time we were given. Dad was born in Feb of 1929 and enjoyed a great and full life. He was simply the richest man I have ever known. There is no monetary value one can put on the love he exuded and the love he received. Married to Josephine Benvenuto on June 10, 1950 together they have 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, a tremendous legacy. We are all so grateful. A WW2 Veteran and member of the “Greatest Generation” Vincent was simply the best of us.
There will be a memorial mass held at Holy Cross Catholic Church,
12600 Marsfield Ave., Orlando, FL 32837 (407) 438-0990
on Monday November 4th at 10am.
This service will be followed by a luncheon reception to celebrate our father's life. The luncheon will be held at 12pm at The Italian Joint, 215 Broadway, Kissimmee, FL 34741. 407 483 7031.
Space is limited so please let us know if you plan to attend.
We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider making a donation in honor of Vincent Naro in any amount to St. Francis “The Heart Hospital” in Manhasset NY. St. Francis saved Dad’s life 2x as well as Moms 1. It is a world class organization and I can’t think of a thing more fitting for Dad’s legacy.
