William Albert Agans

William (Bill) A. Agans, 80, of Winter Garden, FL and previously of Rotterdam, NY, passed away on January 21, 2023 at Health Central Park Nursing Center, Winter Garden, FL after a long illness. Bill was born on March 7, 1942 to the late Albert C. and Irene C. (Attendorn) Agans. Bill was a long-time member of the Cobblestone Reformed Church in Rotterdam and attended Schalmont Schools. He was also a member of the Schonowe Fire District #7 for many years. Bill was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law, Theodore (Ted) LaVallee. He is survived by his sister Barbara S. LaVallee of Cohoes, NY, brother Robert (Wanda) Agans, Sr. of Delhi, NY, niece Angela (Agans) Carlone of Schenectady, NY, nephew Robert (Christa) Agans, Jr. of Charlton, NY, godson Scott (Cathy) Russell of Halfmoon, NY, and cousins Colleen (Mark) Susko of Halfmoon, NY and Cindy Krueger of Gloversville, NY. He is also survived by a great-niece Amber Carlone and great-nephews Kyle and Dylan Carlone, Ryan and Seth Agans, and cousins Olivia Russell, Mackenzie, Sierra, and Cassandra Susko and Kristin Farley. In addition, he leaves behind his canine buddy, “Lewee”. Interment will be at Viewland Cemetery, Rotterdam, at the convenience of the immediate family.
