

Beverly Louise Pike died peacefully at LifePath Hospice House on the morning of December 28, 2023, in Sun City Center, Florida. Born December 12, 1936, in Hyannis, Massachusetts to the late Mildred and Ernest Silva, she grew up in North Truro and graduated in 1954 from Provincetown High School. After graduation, she moved to Cambridge and worked at Carter’s Ink Company. She later returned to North Truro and worked as a phone operator where she met her first husband Airmen First Class Harold Jackson Tripp.
The two were married in 1960 and went on to have two sons: Ernest Rodrigues-Tripp and Michael John Tripp. As an active member of North Truro Church, she taught catechism classes and was honored with the Marian Medal Award from the Fall River Diocese. Along with her husband, she was also active in her local Cub Scout Troup which her sons were a part of. Beverly was an exceptional caregiver to her grandmother and parents. She took pride in being a homemaker and taking care of everyone she loved. She cherished her walks on Cold Storage Beach in Truro.
After the death of her first husband Harold, she moved to Warner Robins, Georgia to be closer to her granddaughters. During her time there, she volunteered at the local nursing home and spent time doing the things she loved. Beverly was a talented painter, knitter, gardener, and card player. She loved reading, spending time with her cats, watching her favorite shows, and hosting her family. In 2008, she met Fred Alan Pike, the two married and moved to his home in Lakeland, Florida before settling in Sun City Center. They enjoyed traveling to St. Augustine as well as Georgia and Michigan to visit family. They also attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Beverly and Fred loved bowling together and participating in their local bowling league.
She enjoyed trying new dishes at restaurants with a glass of red wine. Beverly was known for her quick wit, generosity, and kind heart. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Jackson Tripp. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Fred Alan Pike (his children), her sons, Ernest Rogdrigues-Tripp, and Michael John Tripp (Donyal), granddaughters, Cassandra Jenson (Jesse), Elizabeth Noble, Katrina Tripp/Mills (Tony), and Savannah Banks. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Carson, Cheyenne, Nathan, Jacob, and Lincoln. The family will be holding a private burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Truro, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly’s memory to Kitty City Cat Rescue in Macon, Georgia, or to your local hospice house.
