Charles C. Sloane III

Chuck was born to Charles and Emma Sloane in February 1928. He was an only child, who moved many times in his young life, as his father was in the Army. Plattsburgh, NY was his home base. Chuck attended St. Lawrence University, West Point and graduated from the University of Michigan. He had a successful career in electronics and “high tech” sales and management. He had three daughters with his first wife, Jody. In his retirement, he renewed a friendship with a high school classmate which led to a second love and marriage to Dulcie Whitley. The two have enjoyed the Cape and all it has to offer for the past 20 years.

Chuck is survived by: his wife, Dulcie W. Sloane of Brewster, MA; the mother of his children, Jody Sloane of Napa, CA; three daughters and five grandchildren: Cathi Wastel of Napa, CA; Cindy Stewart (Bill) and her children Ryan, Michael of Napa, CA and Brandon Stewart (Lexi) of Santa Cruz, CA; Jody Gerhmann (Conrad) of Seattle, WA and her daughters Courtney of Seattle, WA and Janet of Boston, MA. Chuck was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Sierra Jade, the daughter of Brandon and Lexi Stewart.
