

Francis J. Brennan, Jr., 83, of North Eastham, MA, formerly of Mission Hill and Wellesley, son of the late Francis J. Brennan and Abigail (Glynn) Brennan, survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Lou (Power) Brennan, his siblings, John Brennan, Lorraine McCurdy, and the late Robert Brennan, his children, Jeanne Crosby of North Easton, MA, Maria Brennan, of North Easton, MA, Denise Brennan, of North Eastham, MA, and Michael Brennan of Blackstone, MA, and his grandchildren, Jennifer Crosby, Jessica Crosby, Brian Crosby, Aidan Crosby and Luke Brennan. Mr. Brennan was an attorney who worked for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, Boston University School of Law and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as the Regional Counsel for the Department of Children and Family Services, Cape Cod and the Islands area office. Mr. Brennan was a graduate of the New England School of Law and Norwich Academy. He was also the author of the novel "51A". A visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00am at the Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 61 Canal Rd, Orleans. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McCarthy Care Center Hospice, 73 Service Rd., E. Sandwich, MA 02563.
