

Gregg O’Neil Rose, 57, of Orleans, died Friday, June 23rd peacefully in his sleep. He was born to the late Gilbert and Dorothy Rose of Cape Cod on July 16, 1965 in Hyannis, Ma. Gregg graduated from Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in 1983, after completing four years in the Auto Mechanic Program, and began working at the Tinknocker in Orleans. Gregg married Daria Rose in 1992, and they went on to live together in Eastham for quite some time. Gregg was an Auto Body Mechanic for the majority of his adult career, owning Gregg’s Auto Body on Finlay Road in Orleans. He had sold his business recently, and began employment at Nauset Marine in Orleans, which he took much pride in. He loved classic cars, recently purchasing his dream car, a 1970 Chevy Nova. Gregg is survived by his three daughters, Samantha Rose of Brewster, Marissa Rose of Dennis, and Brittany Rose of Chatham. His ex-wife Daria Rose of Eastham, sisters Ruthann Kulesza from Florida, and Sandy Francis of Eastham, and brother Steve Rose of Orleans. He is also survived by his only granddaughter, Kensley Rose Newcomb of Dennis, as well as many nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital as Gregg was very supportive of the Cause.
A celebration of life will be held for all family and friends at Laurino’s Tavern in Brewster on July 16th, Gregg’s Birthday, from 1-4 pm.
