NORTH EASTHAM - Helen A. Knowles, 87, of North Eastham, passed away on October 14, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Helen was born in Billerica and grew up in Barnstable and has lived in North Eastham for over 68 years. Helen’s (Me-Me, Gram) greatest joy in life was spending time with her family as well as Maddy and Emily. She worked at the “Reno Diner” in Orleans and also the A&P, for many years.
Helen was the wife of the late Robert Knowles and Theodore Mickle. Helen was predeceased by her son John Ambroult. She is survived by her other children; Diane Douglas, Kathleen Murray, Theodore Mickle, Robert Mickle, Martin Mickle, and Michele Watson. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Jude Hospital or Hope Hospice.
A graveside service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Eastham, MA at 11am on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
