Jeanne E. Shaw

She was born to the late Henry and Marion Paré, July 30th 1946 in Boston, MA. She graduated from Walpole High School before going to secretarial school. She worked for Thomas E Sears Insurance for 12 years where she met her husband Ronald. She married Ronald on March 26, 1983.

Jeanne was an avid traveler who loved road trips with her husband to places up and down the East Coast as well as national parks and Europe several times.

She enjoyed a multitude of crafts and homemaking activities ranging from sewing and quilting, to home decor and basket-weaving. She was active in her community, participating in the Eastham Famous Flower Island group. She cultivated a large circle of dear friends, with whom she and Ronald loved visiting and traveling.

Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband Ronald and their two sons: Matthew and his wife Krista of Northborough,MA and Christopher and his wife Hannah of Hyattsville, MD. She is also survived by 2 beautiful grandchildren from Matthew: Clara and Oliver. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Janet Zabrosky (Steven, husband) and Judy Kackloudis (John, husband) and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jeanne’s name to Habitat for Humanity would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 11th from 4-6pm at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans. The burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 11am at Evergreen Cemetery in Eastham.
