Predeceased by his sister Janice Oakes of Orleans. Joseph is survived by his wife Sara with whom he was married to for 65 years and his daughters Kimberly J Faline, Susan Camile Faline and Maryarden Ludaway his sister.
Joe and Sara retired in 1989 and have since resided in Orleans. Prior to retirement Joseph worked in Brooklyn as District Director of FDA.
A private memorial will be held in the spring.
Death has no bounds, As I am no longer here in body, the spirit reflects on many colorful journeys. Fly fishing was a true passion. The rod I cast so many times made ripples on the water as the fly selected dipped under the ripple hoping only to entice a brook trout. In waiting, listening to Leonard Cohen, gazing at the zinnias in the garden while the afternoon winds blow and the sun sets; always feeling calm and at ease with my loyal companions at my side Kenai and Timbo. Death has no bounds.
