Katherine (Kay) Rogers of Wellfleet, MA passed away peacefully on Oct.2, 2014 at the age of 88. Born in Wellfleet, Ma. She grew up and graduated from Wellfleet Consolidated Schools. She went on to attend Hyannis State Teachers College and graduated from Bridgewater State Teachers College. She taught briefly in Wareham before going on to teach in the Watertown, Ma. school system until her retirement. She is survived by a brother John of Wellfleet, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Wellfleet at 11am on Monday,Oct.6 followed by her burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Wellfleet, MA.
