He was born November 2, 1936, to Clement and Louise Ozon in Saint Pierre et Miquelon, France.
Lucien immigrated to the USA in 1952 with his parents and 6 siblings who came to settle in Orleans, as his father was employed at the French Cable Co. Orleans, MA. as a telegraph operator between France and the US.
As French was his native spoken language, Lucien learned enough English to work at First National Supermarket. He then enlisted in the Army where he met his wife Kay on a blind date.
They later married and started their own family in Orleans, Ma.
Always a provider for his family, Lucien held many jobs around Orleans, from pumping gas at Bills' Sunoco, beach patrol at Nauset Beach, digging cesspools for Ralph Mayo and building homes with his brother Henri, including his own forever home.
Eventually Lucien joined the Orleans Police Department and spent 26 years there before retiring as Lieutenant Detective in 1993
Upon retirement Lucien donned yet another hat as owner and operator of Orleans Private Livery for a number of years before selling the company and retiring once more.
This allotted Lucien more time to pursue his love and passion of open water fishing, travel, and spending time with family.
He is predeceased by siblings: Henri, Clement, Genevieve and Michel.
He is survived by his wife M. Kay Ozon of Orleans and their 3 children: Joseph of Eastham, Robert (Allison) of Brewster, Suzanne Ozon-Smoller (Blaine Smoller), and one grandson Devin Smoller of Brewster.
Lucien is also survived by siblings Jeanne Dunning of Seaford, Delaware and Orleans, and Roger (Ellen) Ozon of Newfoundland Canada, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
If you are reading this and considered Lucien a friend, rest assured it came back to you twofold.
