Margaret Joyce Hoffman

Margaret “Joyce” Hoffman, loving wife, incredible mother and cherished friend passed peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on Monday, April 26, 2021 at age 80. Joyce was a beloved mom, grandmother, coach, mentor and dear friend who was affectionately known as “Joycie, Junior, Mama, Grandma Joyce and Grams”. She enjoyed the beach, golf, tennis, traveling and was a well-respected Real Estate agent in Cohasset and the South Shore. She loved life and was a gift to all who knew her.

Joyce leaves behind her daughter, Justine, her sons, Joe and Jamie, her daughters-in-law, Donna and Kristin, and her grandchildren, Tyler, Alexa, Katie and Laura. Joyce was predeceased by her wonderful parents, Bernard and Isabelle Joyce Coleman, and her loving husband, Joseph Hoffman. A lifetime of memories will continue to be shared by her family, friends and everyone whose lives she enriched.

Friends described her as “the sweetest and kindest person I know, and an extraordinary woman”. Her family shared, “Joyce, you have given so much and asked for so little in return. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us, and always, always paving the way for us. We will work hard to reach the standard you set. Farewell sweet mama. You are and will always be simply magnificent.”
