Thomas J. Marsh

Beloved son of the late L. Margaret (Richardson) and Stanley Marsh, beloved brother to the late Stanley and Dennis Marsh; he is survived by his sister-in-law, Pat, cousins Joe, Michael, and Paul Mazrimas, Mary Ann Kenneally, Judy Boudrot, Bob Anderson, their spouses, children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his many dear friends and relatives who knew him to be a great friend and neighbor, and a warm and thoughtful man.

Born in Arlington, MA, Tom’s family moved to the Cape when he was a child. He graduated from Nauset High. Tom was a career veteran of the Navy and Army, having spent many happy times in Hawaii and Japan. He is a retired custodian of the Barnstable School Department. He was a member of the Nauset Rod and Gun Club in Eastham, and enjoyed chess at the Senior Center and spending time with friends.

Following a visiting hour from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, a memorial celebration of Tom’s life will be held at the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, on Friday, October 24. Burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne will follow at 2:15 pm.
