William W. Mason

William W. Mason, 76, of Brewster, MA, passed away at his home December 24, 2014. Born in Winchester, MA, Bill was a 1961 graduate of Bowdoin College, and had a long and storied career in investment business. Joining Kidder, Peabody & Co. in 1962, Bill quickly climbed the ranks, became a Vice President and Manager of the Prudential Center Office and partner with the firm. He left Kidder in 1978 to form ECM Securities, Inc., a boutique SEC broker/dealer, specializing in oil and gas limited partnerships. Bill was passionate about the game of golf. He was a member at The Kittansett Club in Marion, MA and Hawk’s Nest, in Vero Beach, Florida. He also developed and founded Visual Dynamics, a golf academy in southern Florida. Bill will always be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, adventure and enthusiasm for giving. He leaves behind daughters Sara Mason of Orleans, MA and Susan Stevens of Kailua, HI, granddaughter, Isabel Levy of Orleans and former wife, Linda White of Orleans, two brothers, James Mason and Peter Mason.
