

Anna was born in Patterson, NJ, and was the youngest of nine siblings. She grew up in Patterson, Midland Park, and Waldwick. She graduated from Ramsey High School, and then attended St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She married Lawrence A. Pallante and after having her children she and her husband became owners and operators of the Plaza Delicatessen in Sparta, NJ. They retired to Ormond Beach in 1981 and enjoyed many years in the community. Anna was a member of a bowling league, participated in the Silver Sneakers program at Gold’s Gym, and enjoyed playing cards at the Ormond Beach Senior Center. Anna and her husband were members of The Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and The Elks Lodge all in Ormond Beach. Anna loved entertaining and family gatherings and always had a smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will forever be in their memories.
She is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence A. Pallante, and her eight siblings: Louis, Charles, Peter, Alfred, Carmen, Helene, Margaret, and Eleanor. She is survived by her loving children: Virginia Pallante and wife Sharon of Richmond, VA, Lawrence Pallante, Jr. of Daytona Beach, and Lisa Pallante of New Smyrna Beach, and many nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held on Thursday, August 12 at 11 am at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach. There will be a gathering of family and friends after the mass at the church. The family kindly requests that masks be worn at the Mass and gathering.
