Brenda "The Silver Fox" Dougherty, 77 of Ormond Beach passed away suddenly following a surgical procedure March 4, 2016. She was born in Goshen, NY January 26, 1939 to the late William and Helen Toothill. Brenda was a wonderful friend to many. She will be missed dearly by many close friends and extended family at Riviera Country Club. During her 18 years at Riviera she spent time working in the Pro Shop and as a hostess in the club's restaurant. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband William Dougherty, who passed away in April of 1999. She is survived by brother, William Toothill of Wallkill, NY and sister, Janice Legere of Montgomery, NY. Also left to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews and close friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 at Tomoka United Methodist Church, Ormond Beach at 1:00 pm.
