In the early 80’s Denise moved to Florida and became a US citizen. She dedicated her life to raising her daughter Rebecca, the absolute joy of her life.
She started working at Walmart in Ormond Beach in 2000, and continued to work there as a sales associate for 21 years until she retired June 22 of last year.
Denise enjoyed cooking, reading, doing puzzles, word searches and playing with her dogs Princess, Butch, Daisy, Athena and Apollo.
It was rare to not hear music in the house on a daily basis as Denise enjoyed music from Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, The Duprees and her favorite Elvis Presley.
Denise is survived by her only child, her daughter Rebecca Roett.
