So many were fortunate to learn about life from George, so I won't dwell on his passing.  George always had a story, an experience, an insight that left the rest of us better human beings.

I had the honor of seeing George enjoying the stunning beauty and serenity of the Pallette Ranch.  His strength of will, strength of character, and sheer physical strength were attributes that had to be seen up close, in nature, to appreciate fully.

Somewhere along the Imnaha River today, George's spirit rests with the elk, which he so revered. and Nature's other creatures.  He is at peace, and he has enriched all our lives.

George Gabriel was a wonderful friend and colleague during our many years as members of AALAS. He was always a kind and gentle soul. We hunted elk together in Oregon and spent several days at his ranch in the beautiful country along the Imnaha River close to Joseph, Oregon. In 1981 our son Mark and I began a two week journey into the mountains from the ranch...an experience we will never forget thanks to George....Denise and I send our deepest condolences to Helen and The Family. Sending condolences to you Aunt Helen and the family. Uncle George was not only a wonder man and husband, he was a person that I have looked up to and admired my entire life. He lived his life to  make the lives around him better. He will be forever missed.

When George hired me at lpi 20+++ years ago.
I didn’t know him and he didn’t know me.
I became a part of an lpi family that George built.
George mentored his work family
He traveled with his work family
He had fun with his work family
George always had an open door
He valued us, that made us feel special
He completed us............... 
With that being said George took us on a journey full of memories.
Memories that will always be with us...........Priceless..................

Helen, Richard, Robert and family. You are in our prayers at this difficult time. George (We called him Jorge with a "G") would make anyone who had contact with him SMILE. What a smile. It was so up-lifting to work with George over the past many years. We always were so excited when he would come to visit us in Omaha. May God Bless you all. I'm sure he is making a lot more people smile with him now. What a great man. Godspeed.

I loved his smile, his voice and especially his laugh!  Yet there is so much more to the man who was like a “Father” to us. In 1972 I applied for a job at Lab Products in Garfield, NJ. At that time I had no idea that it would be the start of a relationship that would last till I retired 48 years later.  I am grateful for George for giving me the opportunity and having the confidence in me to be a part of his ventures. George and Helen have been friends with my parents for years . G and Helen were here on their yearly visit . This was May 10th this year on 
my birthday at the Warehouse. It was like having my parents with me also . Such loving caring people . Heaven has received a beautiful Angel .

Mr. Gabriel has left wonderful memories with everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. May his family, that he adored,  find comfort in those memories.

I do not have words to fully express what George Gabriel meant to me. He was always supportive of AALAS and me as Executive Director.  He was instrumental in founding the AALAS Foundation both financially and as a board member. He was an astute businessman with a kind heart.  His passing leaves a hole in my heart. He was my friend.

Mr. G was a wonderful "Boss", gentleman and visionary in our field.  The day I walked into Lab Products for my first day (over 30 years ago), One of the first persons who said hello to me was Mr. Gabriel,  he welcomed me with that genuine smile of his that showed thru his eyes. He said welcome to the LPI family and I knew he meant it. When the company made the decision to move to Delaware,  he came to me and said "Sweetheart please tell me you are moving down with us and staying with the family". Of course I said and he never made me regret it.  From the morning hellos, to how's the baby today to the thank you's for a job well done.  Rest easy Mr. G.  We will miss you and your smiles.

If there ever was a mentor to me, George Gabriel filled that bill.  He was my boss, my idol, a gentleman, a brilliant businessman and a visionary.  I spent 42 years with Lab Products and George let me spread my wings.  Helen and George included Don and me in their lives apart from work and made us feel like a part of their family.  May God bless George and we almost can hear his laughter from above.

From the beginning, he loved and worked hard to create his dream of starting a company. To watch it grow and have meaning.  He reached his goal.  Lab Products, Inc, Maryland Plastics, Harford Systems, Professsional Leasing, BioMedic Data Systems and Hydropac.  He attributed his success to the men and women who joined him. From sales, office staff, factory floor, designers, engineers, friends and famly.  All the myriad jobs that helped produce little by little a company that provided products, systems and aids to the bio medical research laboratories around the world. He retired at 90. He's gone now, this depression era child, who came from an impoverished family. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy, that the American dream still exists and can be achieved.   Thank you, George for everything. 



Thoughts and prayers for the family for your loss,  George will be remembered for a long time. Work for his Hydropac Division for many years and was proud to been apart of the company that he was so passionate about.
