Harold Eugene Bair, 88, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease on Sunday March 9th surrounded by his loving family. He was a Navy combat World War II Veteran, avid animal lover and good friend to many. Harold, (“Bud”) lived previously in Mansfield, Ohio where he was the owner of the Independent Beauty Supply Company for many years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen M. Bair and their children Peg Letizia (Louis), Bob Bair (domestic partner Mike Kitay) and Deb Savoy (John deceased) as well as 8 grandchildren Tra Scott (Michele), Heather Meecha (Tim), Bryan Savoy (Audrey), Zachary Savoy (deceased), Lindsay Parks (Ken), Jami Gleisinger (Bryan), Jodi Letizia, Jason Letizia (Katie) and 13 great grandchildren. A small family service is being held in Florida and in lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made to any veteran’s organizations or to Alzheimer’s research.
