

Dr. James L. Eller, 84, passed away June 2, 2013. He was born January 2, 1929 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Denver L. and Mary Edith Eller. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Ohio State University and the Palmer Chiropractic College. He held many positions with the government in the Federal Aviation Administration and the Health, Education and Welfare Services and was a retired Chiropractor. Jim was a member of the Tomoka Christian Church, Pelican Bay Country Club, Mayflower Society, VFW, and American Legion. He enjoyed golf, tennis, reading, and traveling, which he did all over the world. He is survived by his wife Karen Eller, son Mark Eller, daughter Linda (Alex) Hewes, brother Richard Eller, sisters Charlene(Tony) Walters, Charlotte(George) Clark, grandchildren Connie (Pedro)Ruiz, Rennie (Khrystina) Morrisey, and Sarah Eller, great-grandchildren Carmen Ruiz, Natalie Morrisey, and Megan Morrisey, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 1:30PM Saturday June 8, 2013 at Tomoka Christian Church, 1151 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Tomoka Christian Church’s Let It Rise Building Fund.
