

James William Hellmich, Jr, age 60, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on October 13, 2015. He was born in Mobile, AL on September 20, 1955. “Jamie” graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1973. He also received his general and mechanical contractor’s license. He was married to Lillie Mae Hellmich on May 7, 1999. James worked as a pipe fitter and contractor and was a long time member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #295. He was a very active member of Rima Ridge Baptist Church, Ormond Beach. He had past and recent passions for many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, go-carting, golf, body building, audio visual technology, firearms, archery, softball coaching, model aviation and music. Jamie was known for his diligence, determination and always excelled in whatever he attempted…and he attempted a lot! He was a man of God and principle. His work ethic was unmatched. His wit and intelligence amazed everyone that knew him. His legacy will live on through his family and friends, with wisdom to be passed down to generations.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Hellmich. His daughter Lesley Hellmich Garvey and husband Scott, daughter Allison Hellmich Iserson and husband, David. Step-daughter Tara Marumoto. His grand-daughter, Rose Madison Garvey. Sisters JoAnne Jackson, Judy Bryan and Janet Dove. Brother Jeff Hellmich. Mother June Hellmich Wonder and husband, Marvin.
