

Jim was born in Summit, New Jersey, was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Navy. After being honorably discharged He moved to Daytona Beach, Florida with his wife, two daughters and one son. While living in Daytona Beach he operated his own commercial laundry business and followed that by owning his own business as a cross country truck driver. He had a passion for his family, grandchildren and his great grandchildren and was an avid baseball fan following the New York Yankees. He was a Commander at the local AMVET's organization and also belonged to the American Legion and the VFW.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Rose M Perillo of 66 years. Survivors include his daughters June Brown and Jane Norman, his son James J Perillo III, grandchildren Pam Taylor, Cindy Bruce, Craig Brown, Jennifer Murrow, Kelly Perillo Brown and great grandchildren Mathew Taylor, Brian Taylor, Mercedes Ertle, Madison Ertle, Jordan Bruce, Cassidy Bruce and Reese Brown.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Thursday March 21, 2013 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach, FL. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at Daytona Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home.
