Joan Rumfelt

Joan's deepest love and passion was to be a wife, a mom, and a Meme. She loved them with a passion like no other. Her heart was filled with love for them. Her devotion to her family is what made her life whole. Joan was a people person who was always looking for new friends to talk to. One of her favorite past times was to sweep the streets in hopes of meeting someone new. She kept a core group of friends whom she would play bridge with, attend church religiously and go out for lunch or dinner whenever she had the chance. Joan was the most giving person. Her goal everyday was to brighten someone else's day. She would bake pies, fudge and cookies for everyone she knew. Be it her family, lifelong friends or her mailman, everyone got Joan's sweete. She would write cards to every friend and family member she ever met. So much in fact, she would start on Christmas cards July 1st! She would help anyone who asked. She just wanted to see everyone happy.

Joan is survived by her loving daughter Sabrina Timlin, her loving grandson Trevor Timlin and his wife Amber Timlin, and her loving grandson Blake Winston Timlin, Sisters Kay Hobbs and June Hatcher. She is predeceased by her husband Winston Rumfelt, mother Mildred Padon and father William Padon. Joan was an amazing woman whom we all were blessed to have had in our lives. She is a true treasure that will be forever loved and never forgotten. A service of Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
