Mary Jane McDonald, 87, a longtime resident of Palm Coast passed away June 30, 2016. Jane was born in Elizabeth, NJ on November 28, 1928 to the late James and M. Hellen Caufield (Wade). Jane belonged to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, Red Hat Society and The V.F.W. Auxiliary post #4319. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading and collecting shells on the beautiful beaches of Sanibel Island. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William J. McDonald; daughter, Susan Haywood (John) of Jacksonville, FL; son, Bill McDonald (Sandy) of England; sister, Joan Cohen of Marco, FL; grandchildren, Kimberly, Ryan, Darrin and Alayne; great-granddaughter Sierra. Jane was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Dr. Abe Cohen.
A wake will be held from 6-8 pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast on Tuesday July 5th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on July 6th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass.
