Mary Ann Barker

Mary Ann Barker, of Ormond Beach, Florida peacefully passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in 1946 in South Amboy, New Jersey she relocated to South Florida in the early 1970's.

Mary Ann was married to her beloved husband Richard Barker for 47 years until his passing in June 2022. She had an immense love for all animals, gardening, cooking, wine and most of all her family . She had a spicy spirit, a fabulous sense of humor and beautiful loving heart. She always made an immediate connection and impact with everyone she met. She was an adoring grandmother to 9 and a great grandmother to 12. Her youngest grandson Walker Holbrook was the apple of her eye.

She is survived by her daughter Alicia (Lars) Holbrook, Debbie (Roger) Wolfe, Robin (Herb) Young, and her brother John Krist.

A celebration of life and visitation for Mary Ann will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, from 9 am to 11 am at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. Following the visitation, the burial service will continue at the cemetery at the same location from 11 am to 12 pm.
