Mary Grace Garofolo

Mary Grace (Lupariello) Garofolo found peace in the comfort of her home January 19, 2023 with her devoted daughter by her side. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 75 years, Anthony “Tony” Garofolo, who passed in 2009. She was born in Fairfield, CT to Rose (Stallato) and Leonard Lupariello, and was the oldest of five children. Originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale with Tony and Marilyn to fulfill her dream of enjoying the Florida lifestyle. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Boca Raton, eventually settling in Ormond-by-the-Sea, where she lived for the last 35 years. She enjoyed all the nature and flowers around her home, travelling on numerous cruises with Tony and collecting angels. She cherished the abundance of personal notes and cards from Debbie and Patty Kopp (Michael’s sister) which she would display throughout the house, and reminiscing on the phone with her sister-in-law, Evelyn. Most of all, she enjoyed her nightly journey to Marilyn and Michael’s home next door for a family dinner, especially Michael’s fresh homemade pasta. To top off her night, she loved taking a golf cart ride visiting all her wonderful neighbors and enjoying a few laughs. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Garofolo) Del Ninno and her son-in-law, Michael Del Ninno, her dearest friend of over 60 years, Debbie Griffin of Milford, CT affectionately known as daughter #2, the Chorost Family of Ormond Beach, FL, family friends for over 40 years, her Nephew Michael Caschetto and wife Gissela of Ormond Beach, FL, and her devoted “service” cat, GiGi (God’s Gift). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on January 30, 2023, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
