Myrtle received her master in Education teaching in both North Carolina and multiple schools in the Volusia County School System for over 42 years. She was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.
Preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings, and loving husband EJ, Myrtle is survived by her daughter Cyndi B. Rehberg (Ron) and son Niles L. Bailey (Sandy) along with three grandchildren, Cameron R. Ambers (Aaron), Carri Leigh Rehberg, David Alex Bailey (Cassidy), and Great- granddaughter Savannah Faye Ambers, along with many nieces and nephews.
Myrtle was full of life and will be remembered by her family and friends as an amazing woman who loved the Lord, her family, and friends. She enjoyed many activities some of which included playing cards, love of tending her flower gardens, baking goodies, riding her 3 wheel bike, and volunteering. She loved to tell stories of her travels all over North America and talk about the friends she made along the way. In her later years her love of daily chats via phone with her friends filled her days.
The family would like to thank all of the providers and nurses at Advent Health in Daytona and Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for the love and dignity they gave to Mom/Mamaw.
