Pam was born on January 29, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ, to William Leonard and Grace Irene Lauer. After settling in Florida, she went to work for Florida Health Care Plans and held multiple roles over 34 years.
Pam lived by the motto that “Family is Everything” and made almost everyone she met “family”. Family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, and even strangers were recipients of her kindness and hospitality. She was the heart of the family and hosted every holiday with doors open to all. Those fortunate enough to be present shared a delicious meal prepared with love by a wonderful cook. Of course, everyone went home with leftovers.
Pam is survived by David, her devoted and loving husband of 42 years, sons David (Jennifer) and William, both of which made Pam extremely proud, and her adored grandson Aidan. She is also survived by her brother Bill Lauer (Lori), sister Carol Cecchine (Glenn), three nephews, mother-in-law Edna L. Mims, and friend Carolyn Courtney.
The viewing followed by burial will be on Friday, April 14, at 10 AM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home & Park at 548 North Nova Road Ormond Beach, FL 32174, 386-673-5373.
